GENERAL TERMS OF SALE

REGISTRATION

Registrations are made “online”: see the product pages available on the website: https://www.caussenoirtactiquesurvie.fr

The training sessions, physical, and sports activities offered provide multiple health benefits; however, it is strongly recommended that you consult your doctor beforehand to ensure there are no medical contraindications.

Each participant must provide a medical certificate confirming no contraindications for activities such as walking, hiking, and related activities, dated within three months of registration.

Registration or sale (gift certificate) is only validated after receiving full payment of registration fees and the medical certificate.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND

In the event of cancellation by the Instructors due to exceptional circumstances, an alternative date will be offered, or the total amount paid will be refunded without any compensation.

In case of cancellation by the buyer, the following cancellation fees apply (excluding gift certificate beneficiaries):

  • More than 72 hours before the start date: 40% of the total service cost.

  • Less than 72 hours before the start date: 100% of the total service cost.

LIABILITIES

Your Instructors are covered by professional liability insurance. This does not replace the participants’ personal liability in connection with the proposed hiking activities.

The Instructors are responsible for the group’s safety, activity location, and itinerary selection.

All safety instructions given by the Instructors must be followed by each participant.

The Instructors cannot be held responsible for individual recklessness or negligence regarding equipment, physical preparation, health issues, or the physical limitations of participants during training.

The Instructors are not liable for external conditions affecting the hike (weather, animals, etc.).

The Instructors reserve the right to change the training location and itinerary at the last moment or during activities to ensure group safety.

The Instructors cannot be held responsible for accidents or incidents that occur when participants travel with their vehicles or while parked during the course.

The Instructors are not qualified as “Lifeguards.” When swimming in rivers or lakes, each participant swims at their own risk, and each parent or adult is responsible for supervising minors.

Participation of a minor in training requires the agreement of both the Instructors and the minor’s parents.

Each participant must be aware that they may face various risks due to local conditions. They accept these risks knowingly and agree not to pursue legal action against CAUSSE NOIR TACTIQUE ET SURVIE.

COMPLAINTS

Complaints: any complaints must be addressed to:

  • By registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt: no later than one month after the return date, accompanied by all supporting documents.

IMAGE RIGHTS

Your Instructors may take photographs during activities for the purpose of illustrating the website www.caussenoirtactiquesurvie.fr.

By registering for the courses, you agree to their publication. If you do not wish to appear, any photos featuring you will be blurred.

EQUIPMENT

The activities are conducted in low mountain environments. Generally, this list aims to ensure participants have warm, waterproof clothing. Weather conditions may vary in the low mountains, and temperatures can be cool. Here is a suggested (non-exhaustive) list of equipment:

  • Equipment: Backpack – Sunglasses – Minimum 1L Water Bottle – Knife – Survival Blanket – ID – Whistle – Cell Phone.

  • Clothing: Hiking boots – Walking socks – Pants – T-shirt – Fleece jacket – Windbreaker/waterproof jacket – Hat/Cap – Gloves – Beanie.

  • Miscellaneous: Energy bars, dried fruit, etc. – Picnic meals (not provided by the Instructors) – Headlamp – Compass + IGN Map 1/25,000 (if you’d like to discuss orientation) – Sunscreen (for skin and lips) – Tissues and toilet paper – Mini first aid kit – Camera.
